Morphology

Performed at 18-20 weeks

This scan is to examine the growth of the baby to asses any fetal abnormalities (i.e spina bifida, cardiac abnormalities etc). At this stage of pregnancy, the sex of the baby can be known. The patient will be asked if they wish to know the sex of the baby. This information will only be provided if requested.
